Preserving human dignity and freedom is a precondition for individual, family and community empowerment. Join us with partners from the government, business and non-profit sectors in fighting violence, human trafficking and exploitation through education, advocacy, prevention and supporting the survivors. We have been a leading force in these efforts through our work with allies in two power coalitions coordinated by NCJW San Francisco:
Jewish Coalition to End Human Trafficking (JCEHT)
The Jewish Coalition to End Human Trafficking was created to broaden the understanding in the Jewish community regarding the crime of human trafficking/modern-day slavery and to work toward its eradication. We partner with other interfaith and human rights groups, non-profits, government officials, and law enforcement agencies to raise awareness and take action.
San Francisco Collaborative Against Human Trafficking (SFCAHT)
The San Francisco Collaborative Against Human Trafficking is a public-private coalition of city, state and federal government and law enforcement agencies, non-profit victim service providers and advocacy groups, socially responsible businesses and faith-based organizations, community members, legislators and educators committed to ending human trafficking through collaboration, education, outreach, advocacy, and supporting the survivors of human trafficking.
The National Council of Jewish Women San Francisco Section (NCJW SF) serves as a coordinating agency of SFCAHT. Together with the San Francisco Department on the Status of Women and other member-organizations, NCJW SF provides the staff support necessary for the operation of SFCAHT. 24/7 Human Trafficking Hotline
Operated by NCJW San Francisco in collaboration with SFCAHT
The San Francisco Human Trafficking Hotline (SFHTH) confidentially and safely connects survivors of human trafficking and their support networks with resources and protections. Through its services and collaboration with the local and national stakeholders, the hotline empowers survivors to regain control, navigate their options, and determine their next steps.
