Office Manager

San Francisco is one of the major hubs for human trafficking in the United States. The San Francisco Bay Area is on the FBI’s list of the 13 highest child sex trafficking areas in the nation. Human trafficking is a highly complex national and international criminal enterprise, involving vulnerable victims that are unlikely to self-identify and remain largely hidden from view. Survivors of all forms of trafficking have a number of unique and layered needs for safety, including addressing basic needs, providing victim-centered trauma recovery approaches, and individualized life skills development.

The Bay Area is committed to getting survivors of human trafficking all the help they will need to move forward in their lives. The National Council of Jewish Women-SF Section (NCJWSF), in its role of coordinating agency of the San Francisco Collaborative Against Human Trafficking (SFCAHT), operates a Hotline for survivors of human trafficking to confidentially refer them to much needed services, resources and protections.

The Office Manager is a key member of the Hotline Team and right hand to the Executive Director of NCJWSF/SFCAHT. While the team includes survivor assistance specialists, resource specialists and trauma informed providers, the OFFICE MANAGER sets ups systems for tracking the numbers and types of calls and resources used. The OFFICE MANAGER position is instrumental in implementing the Hotline’s Marketing Plan as well as other duties to keep the office running smoothly.

This is a full-time position, to be filled by someone with at least three years’ experience running an office, computer savvy, able to multi-task, creative and committed to exactness in performance. The position has excellent benefits and a competitive salary. The office is located in mid-town San Francisco, on Van Ness at Jackson.
