Jewish Advocates in Action for a Critical Covid-19 Response

Meet the Program Co-Chairs Emma and Julia

Greetings!

We are twin sisters, seniors at high school and Next Generation members of NCJW San Francisco. We are very passionate about social justice and proud of our volunteer work in support of this important cause.

The COVID-19 pandemic vividly exposed the injustices in our community and dramatically increased the vulnerabilities of those in need. Through our program, we address these injustices and mobilize support for the non-profit and government agencies working to assist vulnerable populations in the San Francisco Bay Area and Israel.

To join the program, please email us at info@ncjwsf.org. We look forward to your support!

Connected and strong in times of social distancing mandate

During these difficult times of coronavirus pandemic, the value of keeping our NCJW community connected increases. While following the state and Bay Area authorities’ directions for social distancing, we can channel our energies and resources toward helping each other in staying strong and healthy.

Our team of volunteers is expanding the phone tree for the purpose of checking in and reaching out. If you are in need of assistance, please reply HERE and let us know if we can pair you up with someone who can help. Please expect a call from one of our team members to check on your needs for support and offer useful information about resources.

Furthermore, if you are willing to help those that need assistance, please respond HERE and let us know if you would like to volunteer.

Meanwhile, check out HERE the resources offered to public by the San Francisco Department of Disability and Aging Services.

In addition, you can seek assistance via Jewish Family and Children’s Services Bay Area Critical Help Line. Click HERE for the contact information and list of available services.

While physically distant, let’s stay connected and strong!
