Human Trafficking Awareness Training for Professionals and Volunteers at JFCS

Professionals and volunteers from JFCS offices around the Bay Area gathered for this important training to learn what is human trafficking, how to identify the victims and how to help connect them with adequate service and protections. Featured speakers were:

Nancy Goldberg – JFCS’s Past President & Steering Committee Member of the JCEHT and SFCAHT

Antonia Lavine – JCEHT’s Chair & Executive Director of NCJW San Francisco

Dr. Gena Castro-Rodriguez – Chief of the Victim Services Division at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office

Sgt. Antonio Flores – Chief of Human Trafficking Division, Special Victims Unit, San Francisco Police Department

Jerilyn Gelt – JCRC’s Board Member & Past President, Member of the JCEHT’s Steering Committee and SFCAHT’s Interfaith Committee
