Joined by parents, teachers and community members, youth from across the Bay Area gathered to perform and share experiences in anti-trafficking advocacy and prevention. Supervisor Katy Tang presented the awards to the winners of the SFCAHT 2017 Teen Poster and Writing Contest. Master of Ceremonies was Human Rights Documentary Filmmaker Sheri Shuster. Dr. Emily Murase, SF Board of Education Member and ED of the SF Department on the Status of Women and victim rights attorney Rose Mukhar, Chair of the SFCAHT Teen Poster and Writing Committee, addressed the audience. SFCAHT Chair Marianna Warmee presented the closing remarks.
